The joint forces strengthened video documentation of the Houthi militia bombing and blasting the headquarters of the Fifth International Control Point in Al Hodeidah City, City Max Sector, east of the city.

The video showed moments of flame rising and heavy smoke rising from the point of the fifth point.

A field source in the joint forces confirmed that the militias used three explosive devices to detonate, which caused extensive damage to the headquarters of the control point in Al-Alimi Building near City Max.

Houthi targeting of control points and liaison officers in the city of Hodeidah comes in light of the silence of the United Nations and its envoy to Yemen and Chairman of the Coordination Committee for Redeployment.

In a defiant challenge to the international team in Al-Hodeidah city, the militia targeted on March 11 in the tour of City Max, a liaison officer in the joint forces, Colonel Mohammed Sharaf Al-Sulayhi, with a sniper bullet that seriously wounded his head while performing his duties.

While the government team demanded a stance from the UN mission regarding the dangerous Houthi escalation, on Friday 13 March, militias bombed the headquarters of the Fifth Control Point two days after the Sulayhi liaison officer was wounded and the government team withdrew in protest at the militia's flagrant violation of the Sweden Agreement.
