The joint forces in Al Hodeidah repelled a Houthi attack, killing 6 of them

The joint forces broke off an attack by the Houthi militia, Iran's arm in Yemen, south of Hodeidah, on Sunday 15 March 2020, and killed and wounded a number of the elements involved in the attack.

A field source in the joint forces said that at least 6 members of the Houthi militia were killed after the joint forces responded to the militia attack in Al-Tuhita, south of Hodeidah.


It emphasized that the forces forced the militias to retreat and flee, with losses of equipment and lives, after the violent battles of the joint forces.


In the Hays district, the joint forces thwarted an infiltration attempt by the Houthi militia in the northwest of the district, Bani Maghari district.

Military sources said: The units of the eleventh brigade, giants within the joint forces stationed in the city of Hays, managed to arrest a field leader of the Houthi militia when he tried to approach the northwestern locations in the Hays front.

The sources pointed out that the Houthi leader is considered one of the new push recruited by the militias in the camps south of Hodeidah and dumped them on various fronts of the West Coast
