20 dead and wounded, 12 hours of street wars, in Radaa

Fourteen people of Riyam militants loyal to the Houthis were killed and wounded, by tribal gunmen from Qayfah, during the battles that took place in the streets of Radaa in Al-Bayda Governorate.

Tribal sources confirmed the killing of 4 Riyam gunmen during the bloody confrontations, led by Sheikh Muhammad Hussein Al-Riyami, his brother Ahmed and one of his nephews, after two tribesmen from Qayfah tribe stormed the house from which they shot Abdullah al-Jawfi and killed him, causing the outbreak of the confrontations.

 It said, that 10 other gunmen from Riyam were wounded, during the clashes that continued until late on Monday evening.

The sources pointed to a truce concluded between the two parties for a period of 24 hours after the intervention of tribal mediators from several sheikhs in Al-Bayda.

 Tribal sources had revealed on Monday evening, killing 6 and wounding 6 others from the Al-Jawf family during the confrontations, noting that dozens of fighters from Qayfah came to the city in preparation for a anticipated round of fighting with Riyam who are supported by the Houthi militia and its weapon.
