On Sunday, May 24, 2020, the army, backed by Saudi-led coalition fighters, repelled a Houthi attack in the sectors of the 5th district of Abs and Mastobah, in Hajjah governorate, northwest Yemen.

Dozens of militiamen, including two leaders, were killed and others wounded in raids by fighter jets on the Houthi camp at a farm in The Abs district, which had prepared them for an attack.

Coalition fighters destroyed two Katyusha vehicles in Mastoback, as well as an electronic warfare center used by the militia to disrupt the communications system.
