Aden, NewsYemen:

The Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, announced that it had informed the United Nations of its readiness to enter into new negotiations with the government of interim President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi for a prisoner exchange.

The militia’s announcement was made by Abdul Qadir Al-Murtada, head of the so-called Houthi Prisoners Affairs Committee, in a tweet on his Twitter account.

Al-Murtada said, "We informed the United Nations of our full readiness to participate in a new round of negotiations to agree on an exchange deal that includes all prisoners, or a partial deal that includes more numbers than in the last deal."

He added, "We hope that there will be no delay by the United Nations, especially after the success of the recent Geneva negotiations."
