Sanaa, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

The Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, continues the Houthi operation in the educational process in the capital, Sanaa, and its areas of control, by entrenching religious and ideological ideas and concepts and allegations related to their myths about divine right and guardianship in the minds of students of basic education schools.

In this context, the Houthi militia directed school administrations in the capital, Sana'a, to compulsorily include school broadcasts excerpts from the speeches and words of the militia leader, Abdulmalik al-Houthi.

Educational sources in the capital, Sana'a, told NewsYemen: The directives issued by the Houthi militia to school administrations stressed the need for students to include in the school radio program that they present during the morning queue, some excerpts from the militia leader’s words, and broadcast some militia’s connections that urge young people to go to the battle fronts, Noting that militia leaders in education offices at the district level visit schools to make sure the schools adhere to these directives.

The sources added that the militia leaders threatened government school administrations to change them if they did not adhere to the directives, while private and private school administrations threatened to suspend them from work and withdraw their licenses if they refused to implement those directives.

According to the sources, the Houthi directives also included the banning of any hair styles or the students' wearing any clothes contrary to what they called customs and traditions, and considering this as a kind of influence by the Western intellectual invasion and the need to prevent students from that and take measures against any student who violates these directives.

These measures come as part of a broad process of Houthi education practiced by the Houthi militia through controlling the entire educational and educational structure from the leadership of the Ministry of Education run by the brother of the militia leader, Yahya Al-Houthi, through appointments to directors of education offices at the capital and governorate levels, then directorates and appointing school directors, mentors and supervisors, up to the amendments it made to the educational curricula, which included consolidating its claims about divine right and guardianship.
