The Coalition: The Houthi militia launched a ballistic missile from Sana'a, and it fell in Saada

 On Thursday, the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, failed to launch a ballistic missile towards Saudi territory, which landed in the northern province of Saada.

According to the Joint Forces Command of the Arab Coalition, the Houthi militia launched a ballistic missile from Sana'a Governorate, and it landed inside Saada Governorate.

The spokesman for the coalition forces, Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki, stated that the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia launched a ballistic missile from Sana'a Governorate on Thursday morning, December 17, 2020, using civilian objects at the launch site, and it fell 158 km after its launch inside Yemeni territory in  Saada Governorate.

Brigadier General Al-Maliki stated that the Houthi militia continues to violate international humanitarian law by firing ballistic missiles and landing indiscriminately on civilians, as well as population centers that threaten the lives of hundreds of civilians.

He stressed that the leadership of the joint forces of the coalition continues to take strict and deterrent measures to neutralize and destroy these specific capabilities to protect civilians inside Yemen, and to protect regional and international security.
