NewsYemen, Sky News Arabia:

This week, US security contractors are heading to provide information proving Qatar's involvement in supporting the Iran-backed Houthi militia and providing the rebels with money and drone equipment.

These prospective testimonies reveal the dangerous role Qatar played in fueling the Yemeni crisis, in order to oppose its Gulf neighborhood, which has been boycotting it since June 2017 due to its involvement in supporting terrorism.

According to the "The National" website, Qatar financed the delivery of drones from Europe and China to the Houthi rebels in Yemen.

At an upcoming meeting in Europe, US security contractors will present information to an international commission investigating the delivery of equipment to militias backed by Tehran.

One of those American contractors said, in a statement to "The National," that the American team has information about the officials involved, in addition to documents about the funds that were transferred to complete the purchases.

It is expected that there will be an officially issued report on the relationship of Qatar and the Houthi militia during the first months of next year, and the report will depend on the testimonies of contractors regarding the persons involved.

Since the rebel takeover of Sanaa in 2014, the capabilities of the drones of the militias backed by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard have been enhanced.

In the same direction, the Houthi militia depends on European and Chinese technology, which is obtained through ports on the African continent.

In mid-2018, the Houthis began to use more advanced Iranian "Samad" drones, which are likely to have a range of more than a thousand kilometers.

Since these Houthi drones are equipped with powerful engines, they can carry larger warheads.

In a document that was disclosed this year, some details were revealed about Qatar's work to finance Houthi drones.

Evidence

It appeared that this funding relied mainly on the "front" company to camouflage it in Cyprus by circulating money from the gold trade in Central Africa.

The aim is to pay money to the Europeans who supply these drones.

The list of compelling arguments includes bank documents regarding the payment and delivery of cash, as well as videos and recordings of Qatari officials involved in this dangerous trade.

These documents confirm the existence of a relationship between the "front" company in Cyprus, which is involved in the payment of drones, and Qatari officials.

In the same vein, the documents refer to Qatar's relationship with the Hezbollah militias and the Muslim Brotherhood, which are included in the terrorist lists.

In a separate context, a British parliamentarian said this week that a report indicated that the American Al-Udeid base in Qatar stopped sharing military intelligence information with Doha's services, due to suspicious relations with Iran and Hezbollah.
