On Sunday, the joint forces broke an attack by the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, in the Hays front, south of Hodeidah.
he journalist in the 11 Giants Brigade, "Faisal Al Drami", told NewsYemen that the brigade's forces broke an attack launched by the Houthi militia towards the "Beit Maghazi" area, causing casualties and injuries.
He added that the Houthi militia pushed its members to carry out an infiltration operation, but the joint forces responded to it, and dealt painful strikes that left dead and wounded.
Al-Drami confirmed that clashes broke out between the joint forces and the Houthis, over a period of two hours, in which the militia used various firearms and artillery shells.
He pointed out that the militia resorted to launching indiscriminate artillery shelling on residential areas in the "Beit Maghazi" area, in the district of Hays, after suffering severe losses in the attack.
