Yemenia Airlines suspends its flights to Saudi Arabia

On Monday, Yemen Airways suspended its flights to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Jeddah - Riyadh) for a week, in implementation of the decisions of the Saudi authorities, and the rest of the flights to various countries will continue.

The company said in a post on its Facebook page that passengers will be notified upon arrival of any new instructions to open the lines again.

This comes at a time when the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has temporarily suspended all international flights for travelers for a week, which can be extended for another week.  Based on what the Ministry of Health raised about the spread of a new mutated type of the emerging corona virus (Covid 19) in a number of countries, according to what was quoted by the Saudi News Agency "SPA", and until medical information on the nature of this virus becomes clear, and a desire to take urgent measures to protect  General health of citizens and residents and ensuring their safety.

The "Yemenia" airline transports Yemenis traveling to Riyadh airport on two flights per month, one in the middle of the month and the other at the end of the month, while Jeddah has two flights per week.
