Informed political sources in Riyadh said that officials in the Yemeni presidency tried to persuade some of the cadres affiliated with the Nasserite organization to assume the position of Minister of Local Administration instead of the representative of the Nasserite Hussein Abdulrahman Al-Aghbry.

The sources reported that the Yemeni presidency sought to appoint a successor to Al-Aghbry, who refused to go to Riyadh to take the constitutional oath, noting that the elements affiliated with Al-Nasiri unilaterally rejected the presidency's offer to succeed Al-Aghbry, and confirmed their commitment to the position of Nasiri and his representative in the government.

Leading sources in the Nasserite organization confirmed the authenticity of the incident, and indicated that the Nasserite organization had reservations about the violations that accompanied the consultation process on forming the government, and circumventing the provisions of the Riyadh Agreement.

The sources explained that the Riyadh agreement stipulated that the government would take the constitutional oath on the day after its formation in front of the president in the temporary capital of Aden, considering that this breach was the straw that broke the camel's back, and that there are other reasons for the conservative organization’s position.

The sources stressed that there are violations, including the failure of some to abide by what was agreed upon during the consultations to form the government about merging ministries and excluding the sovereign ministries from consultations, contrary to what was stipulated in the Riyadh Agreement, noting that the agreement stipulated the formation of the government in consultation with the political components without exception, which is what It was not adhered to, nor was the female component of the government represented.
