Clashes cause casualties in Al-Khokha city

Al-Khokha, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

At least two people were injured, one of them seriously, on Sunday, in clashes between two armed factions in the city of Al-Khokha.

A local source said that the clashes that took place in Al-Khokha roundabout resulted in the injury of a person named Al-Silwi, and another person whose identity was not identified, while a third person was kidnapped.

He added that the clashes took place against the background of a dispute over a plot of land claimed by both parties, before the dispute escalated into armed clashes.

He explained that the two sides used machine gun fire in the clashes, while he heard the sound of a violent explosion, which was later said to have been caused by a bomb.

The city of Al-Khokha is in a state of security chaos, while sources indicate that Brotherhood leaders are fueling the chaos, for unknown reasons.
