The Brotherhood loots qat taxes under the pretext of supporting the fronts in Taiz

Official documents and documents revealed that militia entities affiliated with the de-facto authority of the Islah Party, the Brotherhood’s branch, had seized qat tax revenues in Taiz Governorate, central Yemen.

Activists traded the delivery bonds of the khat sales tax contractor in the governorate, Sadiq Al-Sarmi, the daily, weekly and monthly revenues of the Support and Support Authority under the item of financing the fighting fronts in the outskirts of the city.

 This is a procedure that is against the law, and the money goes to a fictitious formation affiliated with the Popular Mobilization Forces in Taiz, which is also funded by Qatar and Turkey.

Another document revealed the demand of Muhammad Othman Al-Sabai, director of the Tax Office, from the qat tax contractor, Sadiq Al-Sarmi, to supply an amount of about 400 million riyals for the month of June.

It is noteworthy that Sadiq al-Sarmi, his sons and some of his relatives work in the collection of qat tax in Taiz governorate with official bonds, and they supply it to bank accounts affiliated with the Brotherhood, which they are protected by.
