The Arab coalition thwarted a Houthi attack with two booby-trapped boats in Hodeidah

 The Arab coalition, led by Saudi Arabia, announced, on Saturday, that it thwarted an attack with two booby-trapped boats by the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, in the Hodeidah Governorate, in the west of the country.

The coalition confirmed, "The destruction of the two booby-trapped boats in Al-Salif in Hodeidah Governorate, during the process of preparing them."

He pointed out that "the Houthi militia continues to violate the Stockholm Agreement with hostile operations in the Hodeidah Governorate."

The coalition stressed "the Houthi militia's continued threat to shipping lines and global trade in the southern Red Sea."

On Saturday morning, the coalition revealed the interception and destruction of a booby-trapped drone belonging to the Houthi militia in Yemeni airspace that was launched towards Khamis Mushait.

The coalition condemned "the Houthi militia's continued deliberate targeting of civilians and civilian objects," noting that "operational measures were taken to protect civilians and deal with the imminent threat."


The coalition had announced, on Friday evening, "the destruction of a hostile air target launched by the Houthi militia towards Saudi Arabia."
