On Sunday, the "Al-Jawf and Marib" fronts witnessed major field developments between the government forces and the resistance on the one hand, and the Iranian-backed Houthi militia on the other, which left dead and wounded on both sides.
Field sources in Al-Jawf stated that the army and tribes had repelled a Houthi attack from three axes on the "Al-Jadafer" front, east of the city of Al-Hazm, the provincial capital, through which the militias tried to achieve a field victory as part of their attempts to penetrate the fronts located on the administrative borders of the Marib Governorate, the first main target. to the Houthis.
According to the sources, the militias have failed to achieve any progress in Jadafar, after failing to achieve any breakthrough in the "Al-Qa'if" front in the Bart Al-Anan district, where they have been trying for five days to reach the "Al-Juaid" plateau overlooking the road between Al-Jawf and Saada, heading towards Al-Khadra port on the Yemeni-Saudi border.
On the other hand, the official spokesman for the Sixth Military Region in Al-Jawf, Captain Rabie Al-Qurashi, confirmed that many Houthi members were killed and injured in raids by the Saudi-led Arab coalition fighters, which targeted Houthi sites in the "Al-Dhahra" areas of the Khub and Al-Sha'af district.
In Marib, the western and southern fronts of the governorate witnessed, during the past hours, fierce battles between the two sides, during which government forces, backed by local resistance, were able to advance on the vast front, and reach the "Al-Abzakh" mountain in the country of Baqatha, according to field sources, confirming the continuation of the battles in The outskirts of the Directorate of Rahba towards the areas linking the Directorate of Mahlia.
The sources confirmed that, in the event of complete control of Mount Al-Abzakh, the areas of Jabal Dahr Al-Bair, Waheed bin Harez, and Jabal Hamar Al-Kharif, the village of Al-Bada belonging to the Al-Shaddad tribes, will be controlled.
