 Clashes erupted between Brotherhood forces in the Qarn al-Klasi area in the city of Shuqra in the Abyan governorate on Friday, following disputes over fees.

Local sources said that clashes erupted between forces belonging to the First Brigade, Presidential Protection, and the military police forces, following a dispute over fees for transport trucks.

The sources indicated that the clashes caused the burning of a military vehicle belonging to the First Brigade, presidential protection, and the clashes caused damage to the cars of citizens who were passing by during the clashes.

The sources did not clarify the number of victims who fell during the confrontations, but they confirmed that ambulances carrying wounded people entered Shakra Hospital.

Tension prevails between the Brotherhood forces in Abyan governorate over levies, and clashes erupt permanently due to the large funds that the leaders of these forces obtain from trucks transporting fuel and food, and they have come to impose levies on cars belonging to merchants in the governorate.
