Aden, NewsYemen, special:

A newspaper affiliated with General Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar revealed the imminent announcement of a political entity from within Turkey to reject what it called "the deviation of the Arab alliance."

"Akhbar Al-Youm" newspaper quoted what high-ranking political sources in Istanbul, Turkey, said, that "political forces and independent leadership figures, including members of parliament and former ministers, are on the verge of declaring a unified political entity."

According to the newspaper, one of the most prominent goals of this entity is "supporting the national army and working to provide all the requirements of the battle, rejecting the deviation of the Arab coalition from its goals, reforming the path of the legitimate government and pressuring it to return to the interior of Yemen to assume its responsibilities towards the economic situation, especially the collapse of the currency."

The newspaper quoted its sources as expecting that this entity will be announced at the end of this month or the first week of next September.

In early June, the prominent Brotherhood leader residing in Turkey, Hamid al-Ahmar, revealed arrangements to announce a new political entity called the "Yemen Salvation Front", which is likely to be the same entity that the newspaper is talking about.

Al-Ahmar's talk about this entity came during a press interview in which he strongly attacked the role of the Arab coalition, and said that "the harm the coalition has caused to Yemenis is no less than the harm caused by Iran."

Hamid said that the tasks of this front is to seek "to overcome the major imbalance in the performance of legitimacy, correct the relationship between legitimacy and the coalition, and search for societal exits to save Yemen."

The talk about the announcement of the entity affiliated with Hamid Al-Ahmar coincides with similar moves by Brotherhood leaders seeking to revitalize their political presence on the scene, most notably the remarkable activity of Brotherhood leader Ahmed Al-Essa recently and the intensification of his meetings for the entity led by the "Southern National Coalition", and the disclosure of his possession of a ministerial bloc in the government and a parliamentary bloc.  And approving a program for the coalition's activities on the ground during the next phase.

Observers link these moves with talk of international trends to discuss consensual alternatives to the leadership of legitimacy due to the accumulation of failure in the performance of President Hadi, including the formation of a presidential council, especially since it came from Muslim Brotherhood leaders who had previously expressed their ambition for the presidency.

Al-Essi had recently expressed explicitly that he saw himself as the most deserving of Hadi’s succession, and the same applies to his counterpart Hamid al-Ahmar - without explicitly declaring it - but his opposition activity since the rule of former President Ali Saleh reflected his ambition for the position of president.
