Sources close to the family of the prisoner, Maeen Abdulhakim al-Shuja'a, told "Newsyemen " that their son was subjected to a fraud while he was inside the central prison in Ibb governorate.
Maeen, a resident of Al-Udain District, "Qusay Al-Amarna" district, had hired one of the sheikhs who work as a Sharia agent to get him out of prison after the ruling was issued to pay the blood money.
The close source confirmed that what happened came as a result of the refusal of the "Udain Public Prosecution Office" more than once to supply the amount officially and cut the supply deed without explaining the reasons, which prompted the victim to knock on another door.
The case of fraud that occurred after collecting blood money by collaborators was half a year ago, according to the victim's relatives, and despite attempts to recover the amount, the perpetrator continued to evade despite the presence of bonds and witnesses to prove this.
It should be noted that the case of Maeen, 24, has been in the works since 2013, after his cousin was killed during an exchange of fire when he was no more than 17 years old, in which both parties were injured before one of them died and he was the one who started the shooting.
