Shabwa, NewsYemen:

In conjunction with the successive military defections loyal to the Brotherhood’s authority in Shabwa governorate, which exposed one after another the betrayal of Ibn Adyo and his militias in handing over the three Bayhan districts, the Brotherhood’s authority resorted to a series of kidnappings for each defector.

And press sources revealed that some of the dissident leaders and supporters of the prominent tribal sheikh, Awad Al-Awlaki, and Al-watah meeting , were subjected to a failed kidnapping attempt, including the prominent leader in the Special Security Forces, Lieutenant Mubarak Qambua, the commander of the battalion that announced its defection from the Brotherhood’s authority and its support for the demands of the people of Shabwa.

It confirmed that masked elements, some of whom are civilians and soldiers in civilian cars, tried to kidnap Lieutenant Qambua minutes after he held a meeting at Sheikh Awad al-Wazir's house in the presence of sheikhs and military and security leaders.

The sources indicated that escorts of Lieutenant Qambua' were able to monitor the movements of the cars belonging to the Brotherhood's militia, and thwarted his kidnapping and the escape of the kidnappers' cars.

Confusion are evident on the authority of Ibn Adyo of the Brotherhood, after dozens of leaders belonging to the security and military corps flocked to the Nisab Directorate in the past few days to announce their support for the popular and tribal uprising that the directorate is witnessing against the Brotherhood’s authority.
