On Thursday, the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, bombed the Red Sea mills in the western city of Hodeidah with mortars.

A military source said, "The Houthi militia targeted the Red Sea mills with a 120-caliber mortar, after the specialized teams had finished processing thousands of tons of food in preparation for distribution."

He added that the Houthi bombardment of the mills came to prevent the United Nations World Food Program from distributing more than fifty thousand tons of food in the areas of need.

According to the source, the World Food Agency had recently processed 51,000 tons of food and intended to distribute it to eligible families in some areas, but the Houthi militia anticipated the move by bombing the mills.
