Houthi's strange warning to "barbershops"

The Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, has issued an official circular to barber shops in Ibb governorate to prevent what it calls “western haircuts in violation of the Islamic religion”.
The circular warned the owners of barbershop what he called "cutting hair in a non-divisive manner and contrary to the true Islamic religion, customs and traditions."
According to a document that carried the signature of the director of the Criminal Investigation Department in Ibb governorate appointed by the Houthis, the militia obligated the "owners of barber shops not to shave these western and immoral haircuts , and held them fully responsible in the event of such haircuts."
