Houthi mine kills 4 civilians in Hajjah

Four civilians were killed and another wounded, on Sunday March 15, 2020, by a landmine explosion, planted by the Houthi militia in the Midi district of Hajjah Governorate, in the northwest of the country.


Director General of the Midi Directorate, Brigadier Ali Siraj, said that a Houthi landmine exploded by motorbike north of the village of Bani Fayed in Midi, which resulted in the death of three civilians: “Muhammad Ali Jarbahi, 35 years old, and the two children: Hassan Yusuf Jerbahi - 15 years old, and Ismail Hussein Musawi - 14 years old. "



A sixth-year-old citizen was killed by another mine, on a farm in Al-Jada, while he was bringing livestock feed.


He pointed out that Hasan Ahmed Bilal Adabi, 60, was wounded by shrapnel in different parts of his body, on Saturday, as a result of a landmine explosion while grazing livestock in a farm, and he was rushed to a hospital in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.



Citizens of the liberated districts in Hajjah appealed to the National Mine Action Program and Masam Program to cleanse their homes and farms of Houthi mines that are killing their lives and destroying their property continuously.
