The West Coast Front has witnessed clashes in two sectors in the past few hours, following new breaches by Houthi militias of the ceasefire agreement.
According to military sources, the remnants of pockets of Houthi militias re-attempted to infiltrate the mountainous area of the Tahita district, but to no avail, despite the use of heavy fire cover and artillery, hit villages and farms far from any military target.
He said units stationed in the joint forces to secure the lives of citizens in the mountains clashed with militia men stationed in remote areas of military value on the Zubayd line and forced them to flee after sustaining direct casualties in their ranks.
In sector Kilo 16 east of Hodeidah, units of the joint forces clashed with Houthi militiamen as they tried to infiltrate Tabbab near the line of contact, according to the same source.
The sources confirmed that a number of militiamen had been killed and wounded and the rest had been forced to flee.
