14 people, including women and children, die from floods in Reema

Fourteen people, mostly women and children, died after two houses collapsed friday night in Reema province, western Yemen, due to heavy rains.
"A house destroyed by floods in jabal Rim village in Jaafaria district resulted in the deaths of six women and three children," local sources told Newsmen.
Citizens were unable to save the women, the sources said, due to a lack of resources, amid a complete absence of the role of the de facto authorities.
"Five other people were killed when a house collapsed in al-Jabin district, the capital of the province itself," she said.
Torrential rains, which hit the mountainous province on Thursday evening, washed away large agricultural fields in the two directorates.
