The authorities of the Brotherhood, which controls the city of Marib, prevented the head of the Yemeni Socialist Party branch in the governorate and the director of technical and vocational education from attending the lighting ceremony of the 58th anniversary of the eternal September 26 revolution.
Local sources reported that the Brotherhood's security forces prevented Naji Al-Hanashi, head of the Yemeni Socialist Party branch in Marib, from participating in the celebration despite receiving an official invitation from the organizers.
Al-Hanashi confirmed on his Facebook account that he was prevented at the protection points of the celebration area, surprising that those abuses were against a political and civil figure in Marib Governorate.
In the context, the Brotherhood’s authority also prevented Jamal Shajrah from attending the torch lighting ceremony for the Yemeni revolution on September 26, which took place on Friday evening in the city of Ma'rib.
