The Secretary-General of the General People's Congress Party, Ghazi Ahmed Ali, confirmed on Friday, that the conference is proud that it was the organization that bore upon itself the responsibility of achieving the most important and most prominent achievements of the eternal September 26 Yemeni revolution, whether in terms of developmental achievements or in achieving the ultimate goal of re-achieving Yemeni unity and ending the obnoxious cleavage system.
This came in a congratulatory telegram sent to Sadiq bin Amin Aburas, president of the General People's Congress, on the occasion of the 58th Yemeni Revolution Day for the twenty-sixth of September, according to Al-Mutamar.net website.
The Secretary-General of the People's Congress Party said that this occasion is important to all Yemenis, as it reflects the day when the Yemenis were able to make a new dawn by ending the backward frontier system and establishing the new republican Yemen, for which the revolutionaries and the free people made great sacrifices for the sake of which they achieved their dreams and hopes for the establishment of a republican system that made Yemen able to catch up with the modern world after it was living in complete isolation.
He stressed that the conference, with its leadership, leaders and members, will continue to adhere to and defend national constants, foremost among which are the revolution, the republic, unity and the democratic approach.
