Aden, Newsyemen:

The Southern Transitional Council expressed its deep regret at the irresponsible statements made repeatedly by some members of the caretaker government, bypassing their stipulated duties, in a continuation of them trying to shuffle the cards in order to thwart the efforts of the Arab coalition and thwart the efforts aimed at unifying the political and military ranks in the face of the Houthi militia and terrorist groups.

In a statement issued by its General Department for Foreign Affairs on Saturday, the Council confirmed that all consultations related to the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement are taking place through high and responsible channels under the auspices of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

The statement said, "While the Council's General Department of Foreign Affairs commends the efforts made by the brothers in the Arab Coalition, it affirms at the same time that the delegation of the Southern Transitional Council in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, has completed the delivery of all necessary plans to implement the mechanism for accelerating the Riyadh Agreement announced on July 29, 2020, which includes plans to separate and transfer forces from Abyan to the fronts, and to transfer military forces outside the capital, Aden.

The Southern Transitional Council called on the prime minister-designate to fulfill the agreed obligations to support the governor of the capital, Aden, to facilitate his tasks to alleviate the suffering of the citizens, especially with regard to the provision of public services.

The Southern Transitional considered obstructing the formation of the new government and the announced acceleration mechanism, is a policy of collective punishment against the southern governorates.

In response, the Southern Transitional Council called on the countries of the Arab coalition led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is the sponsor of the Riyadh Agreement, to take a firm stance towards the parties obstructing the implementation of the agreement.
