The spokesman for the Southern Transitional Council, Nizar Haitham, explained that the head of the National Assembly of the Council, Major General Ahmed bin Brik, left for the Egyptian capital Cairo to conduct periodic health checks.
This came in his tweet on Twitter, in response to the confusion and interpretations that accompanied the sudden departure of Major General Ben Brik towards Cairo.
Haitham indicated that Major General Bin Brik will return after his trip to his homeland in a healthy way to continue his struggle and patriotic role in serving his people and their just cause.
Major General Ben Brik left, yesterday, Saturday, to the Egyptian capital, Cairo, suddenly, to the succession of leaks about the reasons for leaving, which were divided between resentment and desertion and the possibility of assigning him a new position within the next government.
