Aden, NewsYemen:

The Saudi authorities, at the Al-Wadiah border crossing with Yemen, suspended the entry of Yemenis into its lands, following the emergence of a new strain of Coronavirus, while keeping the port open to those leaving.

Travelers reported that the Saudi authorities at the port returned a number of cars yesterday, Monday afternoon.

This comes a day after the Saudi authorities announced the closure of all land, air and sea ports, for a period of a week, which could be extended, with the exception of the movement of transporting goods, goods and supply chains, based on what the Ministry of Health raised about the spread of a new mutated type of the emerging Coronavirus in a number of countries to preserve the safety of its citizens.

Meanwhile, the Yemeni authorities kept the crossing open for the return of Yemeni citizens from Saudi Arabia to the country.

Earlier, the Supreme National Committee to confront the Corona epidemic approved a BCR examination that confirms that travelers returning to Yemen through the land and air ports are free of disease 72 hours before their arrival, starting from next Friday.
