The Exchangers Association announces the resumption of money transfers starting today, Sunday, after a week-long ban

The Aden Exchangers Association announced the resumption of activating all local bank transfers for incoming and outgoing remittances, starting today, Sunday, July 4, after a week-long ban, which caused many problems for citizens and halted their interests.

The Exchangers Association - Aden, had suspended all remittance networks, last Sunday, coinciding with a new depreciation of the local currency against foreign currencies, explaining that the suspension was in implementation of the decision of the Central Bank of Aden.

The Exchangers Association issued a circular on Sunday, July 4, of which NewsYemen received a copy, to exchange facilities and companies, and local financial transfer networks, to activate all bank transfers, and the circular included a set of procedures to organize transfers and bank account balances.

The circular directed all exchange companies, institutions and establishments to settle balances in all accounts related to money changers and their agents, not to allow overdrafts or open in return, and to prevent all sales and purchases of foreign currencies and their circulation after 48 hours from the time of this circular.

It also prevents all operations of restrictions and coverages for companies or establishments among them within the framework of one network, and allows establishments and companies to raise coverages from one network account to another network.

And the circular of the Al-Sarfain Association, Aden, specified the restriction of the work of the transmission networks between eight in the morning and ten in the evening, except that they are closed from the host.

The riyal continues to decline against the dollar and foreign currencies, as the price of the dollar on Saturday/Sunday night reached 956 riyals, and the Saudi riyals 251 riyals.
