Mahra, NewsYemen:

Sultan Abdullah bin Issa Al Afrar renewed his rejection of the malicious Houthi Brotherhood plans to turn Al-Mahra Governorate into an arena for regional conflicts.

Al-Afrar stressed that the people of Mahra will have a stance rejecting malicious alliances or turning their governorate into an arena for regional conflicts, calling on the people of Mahra and Socotra to unite the ranks, transcend differences and walk behind their entity represented by the General Council.

In a post on Facebook, Al Afrar said that he will soon return to Mahra and from there to Socotra after completing some reviews and medical examinations, to launch the "Socotra Dream" ferry trips.

He added, "Al-Mahra will have their position rejecting all malicious alliances or turning their province into an arena for regional conflicts."

At the conclusion of his post, he called on the people of Socotra and Al-Mahra to unite the ranks, overcome differences, and return to the path of truth and righteousness under their umbrella and their inclusive entity represented by the General Council of the People of the Governorates of Al-Mahra and Socotra.

It is worth noting that British forces arrived last week in Al-Mahra Governorate, after a British oil tanker was targeted by an Iranian drone launched from Al-Mahra.
