Aden, NewsYemen:

Tweeters denounced the exploitation of Aden Net Company, cutting off the Yemen Net service for four days, by raising the price of its segments on the black market to an amount of 3000 Saudi riyals.

While citizens cannot buy the chips directly from the company, because they are not available, they are available in amounts ranging from 1500 Saudi riyals to 3000 riyals on the black market.

Journalist Adel Al-Madwari said in a tweet, that in crises, national companies intensify their services and prevent monopoly, while the rogue Aden Net Company sold internet chips on the black market from 1500 Saudi riyals, 2000 and 3000 Saudi riyals.

In order to get out of the monopoly control of Aden Net, and the Houthi control of Yemen Net, the journalist Alaa Hanash called on the southern businessmen and financiers to open new net companies.

Yesterday (Monday ) the Southern Transitional Council stressed the need to end Houthi control of the Internet and the communications sector in the south, calling in this regard to provide the necessary facilities for investors to establish a southern communications network through which control of the communications sector is secured away from Houthi domination.
