Al-Houthi militia, Iran's arm in Yemen, with heavy casualties in terms of dead and wounded, retreated at dawn today, in front of the fire of the southern forces, in confrontations in the Sabira-Al-Jab sector northwest of Al-Dhalea.

A field military source said that the Houthi militia tried to attack from three directions and reinforced its attacking elements with heavy fire coverage with artillery 23, medium machine guns, mortars and other medium calibers, but it quickly broke down amid a decisive response and response by the southern forces stationed in the al-Jab Sabira sector.

He added that the reconnaissance unit of the southern forces had monitored the movement of militia members and their preparation for the attack from an early date, so it preceded the preparation of a tight plan to trap the attacking militia elements in the midst of a ring of fire in the valley of the town of Sabira, Wasila Saberah, the subject of the targeting and the tight ambush of the militias.

The military source confirmed that the sniper unit had a major role in resolving the situation and forcing the militias to retreat, burdened with casualties in terms of dead and wounded during confrontations that lasted about an hour and expanded to the outskirts of the eastern and western sectors of the strategic al-Jab camp.

As usual, every time the militias return disappointed after each attack, they are burdened with the death of a number of their attackers and the wounding of many of them.
