Aden, NewsYemen:

The Minister of Interior, Major General Ibrahim Haidan, loyal to the Brotherhood, continues to obstruct the normalization of the situation in Shabwa governorate, since the dismissal of the former governor, Muhammad Saleh bin Adyo, and the appointment of Awad bin Al-Wazir Al-Awlaki in the position.

The Minister of the Interior recently slipped into supporting the rebellion of Brigadier General Abd Rabbo Lakab, the commander of the so-called Special Security Forces, who was dismissed, against the decisions of the Security Committee that came to maintain security and stability in Shabwa.

Security sources said that Minister Haidan supports the "Lakab" rebellion against the governor's decisions, while alluding to his involvement in supporting armed activities in Shabwa governorate in recent months.

Politicians and media professionals called on the Presidential Leadership Council to hold the Interior Minister accountable and to put an end to his abuse of the council's decisions.

The Presidential Leadership Council had granted Shabwa Governor Awad Al-Awlaki all powers to arrange and structure the security forces in the governorate, but Minister Haidan violated these directives and supported the leaders who were proven to be involved in the security events in the governorate.

Political writer Saeed Bakran said, on his Facebook account, that Haidan is fueling the security chaos in Shabwa and weakening the local authority.

He added: "The Minister of Interior is inflaming the security situation in Shabwa in favor of chaos and weakening the authorities of the governor.

He continued, "The northern parties in the Presidency Council bear responsibility for Ibrahim Haidan's actions to end obstructing his dismissal and replace him with a minister who protects consensus and strengthens state authorities."

In turn, journalist Basem Al-Shuaibi confirmed that Haidan supports creating chaos in Shabwa governorate.

Al-Shuaibi said on his Facebook account: "The so-called Haidan plays a disruptive and disruptive role in Shabwa and obstructs the efforts of Sultan Ibn al-Wazir to normalize the security situation in the governorate."

He stated that Haidan is working to mobilize the remnants of the former regime to give orders to "Akab" to rebel against the local authority," adding: "What I see are the kicks of a slaughtered sheep and nothing but the decision to liquidate the state from the futility of the Brotherhood was taken."

In this context, the academic "Hussein Al-Diyani" saw that any "rebellion against the governor's decisions is capable of it, and matters will be resolved."

For his part, Brigadier General Khaled Al-Nassi said in a tweet on "Twitter", "The Governor of Shabwa, Awad bin Al-Wazir Al-Awlaki, has the right to make changes in the framework of civil and military institutions in accordance with the public interest."

Brigadier General Al-Nassi pointed out that "there is a defect in the work of the military and security institutions in Shabwa, and change has become a necessity to cleanse it of intrusions and corruption."

He considered that "the presence of Laakab and other leaders has become an obstacle to stability, and they must be removed."  According to him.
