Since its formation, five years ago, the Transitional Council has worked to unite the southerners, unite the southern components under its umbrella, and close the way for the forces lurking in the southern project.

The Transitional Council formed a dialogue team, whose mission is to dialogue with all southern components at home and abroad on the basis of "the south for all and by all." This team has been able to achieve great achievements.

The Transitional Council opened channels of communication with all influential southern military and security leaders and components at home, where the Chairman of the Council, Aidarous al-Zubaidi, called for translating these contacts into a national honor charter and for the participation of all southern parties and segments in shaping the future of the southern state.

The Transitional Council succeeded in translating these efforts into reality, and southern military leaders who were opposed to his project announced their welcome for dialogue and rapprochement, and these leaders emphasized the importance of national cohesion and popular alignment and turning the page on the past.

The southern journalist, Muhammad Al-Noud, said that the unity of the southern ranks represents a great and very important victory, explaining that the cohesion that the south is achieving at the present time is a strong and impenetrable wall against any attempts to marginalize the south, in any political process.

He pointed out that the President of the Transitional Council adopted a policy based on basic lines, most notably sparing the citizens in the south the repercussions of any existing or potential conflict, and putting aside internal differences by achieving national cohesion and popular alignment.

The southern journalist explained that the main successes and objectives of the southern cause were based on the determinants adopted by Al-Zubaidi.

On the other hand, politicians loyal to the Brotherhood's Islah party expressed their dismay at the southern-south rapprochement, claiming that this step was an attempt to thwart the process of integrating the military and security forces.

Pro-Brotherhood researcher Ali al-Dhahab said that the rapprochements taking place between leaders and armed formations in the areas of tension in the southern and eastern governorates are nothing but the elimination of the divisions that are included in the statement of the transfer of power to the Leadership Council, and the procedures for integrating the armed forces.

And the Brotherhood researcher claimed in his tweet on Twitter that there is a false, provocative separatist use of these moves.
